I hate to even think about this possibility, but given our history (not to mention the Denver arrests), it has to be regarded as a possibility to guard against. Let’s all send the United States Secret Service some fresh baked cookies when they shepherd President Obama into the White House, and again when they’ve kept him safe through his retirement. It is simply inexcusable for Sen. McCain to intentionally inflame unstable, radical right elements in this manner.
